Under the Green Thinking concept, our ECO ONE, ECOSAFETY, and SOFT LAUNDRY SYSTEM ranges represent three proposals aimed at moving towards a more efficient and responsible use of chemicals, without sacrificing the efficiency required by professional cleaning processes, disinfection and textile washing.

Green Thinking is the reflection of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, which endorse our commitment to management oriented towards environmental respect, quality and continuous improvement. All this integrates environmental criteria of high rigour, where each element is aware that quality does not start or end in a product, but is part of the excellence in our activity.

We are assured of AENOR: ISO 9001 Quality Management System – Certificate No. ER-0817/1998, which we renew every year. We establish a system of evaluation and control of risks and opportunities that allows us to improve the effectiveness of the management system.
Committed to the environment.
Since 2001, we have held the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Certificate No. GA-2001/0388. Reducing plastic, paper and resource use in our manufacturing and creating more sustainable products are our goals year after year.
Sustainability is also built on the management of resources. S.A. PRODER works to reduce the environmental impact of our activity. We are working in three specific areas: energy, water and paper. These three lines of action turn the commitment to Green Thinking into concrete and quantifiable measures.
Photovoltaic installation | Clean energy to manufacture with awareness.
In 2023, we incorporated a photovoltaic panel installation on the roof of our facilities, making a firm step towards greater energy self-sufficiency. With 135 panels and an installed power of 72 kWp, the installation allows us to cover 34.5% of our self-consumption with renewable energy and reduce CO emissions by approximately 5 tons per year. A clean-energy bet that improves our energy efficiency and reduces our dependence on fossil fuels.
Water footprint | Every drop counts.
Optimising water consumption is another of the pillars of our environmental strategy. We apply technologies and practices aimed at their conservation and reuse, recovering part of the water used in our processes to reduce total consumption. We also work on the optimisation of water used in washing production machinery and develop concentrated products that require less water both during manufacturing and application. The result is more efficient management of an essential resource, with a 14% reduction in annual water consumption.
Responsible use and reuse of paper.
Responsible paper management is also part of our commitment to resource efficiency. We prioritise FSC-certified paper from sustainably managed forests, as well as the use of recycled paper and material reuse. In addition, we digitise formats, manage prints more efficiently and track internal consumption. This combination of measures has allowed us to reduce paper consumption in the office by 40%, moving towards more efficient and responsible document management.
In this same line, S.A. PRODER uses paper with FSC Mixed certification in all its commercial and corporate printed documentation, incorporating responsible management criteria for forest resources also in its communications. A choice that completes our commitment to more conscious consumption and demonstrates that, in Green Thinking, every resource counts, every decision adds up and each progress brings us closer to a more responsible way of producing and growing.
Carbon footprint | Measure to move forward.
Green Thinking is committed to measuring impact to manage and reduce it. S.A. PRODER has the certification of AENOR for the annual calculation of its carbon footprint, under the recognition CO Calculado, which quantifies our greenhouse gas emissions according to the established calculation criteria.
This measurement exercise allows for an objective view of the environmental impact and turns data into a tool for decision-making. Knowing our carbon footprint means being able to identify opportunities for improvement, set goals, and move towards increasingly efficient and sustainable production. The commitment of S.A. PRODER to more responsible chemistry extends also to its formulations. An increasing part of our range includes the EU Ecolabel, a recognition that identifies products that meet environmental criteria established within the framework of the European Union.
This certification is a step forward in the development of low environmental impact solutions. The certification incorporates criteria related to efficient use of resources and reduction of waste, without sacrificing the efficiency required by professional cleaning applications.
