Clínica Sant Antoni is an intermediate care hospital with more than 30 years of experience, the result of the merger of two prestigious clinics in Barcelona. Originally, surgical centres in 1983 were transformed into centres for chronic patients. In 2011, a new building of 12,000 m² was inaugurated, equipped with the most advanced technology and a highly qualified multidisciplinary team. 

The main objective of the centre is to receive patients with rehabilitation and stabilisation needs. Since 2014, it has followed the EFQM quality model, and its mission is to cure, care for, nurture, and rehabilitate. It is also a teaching centre that welcomes students for work placements from various universities.

  • Contaminated clothing separation: clothing worn by infected patients or those with contagious diseases must be separated immediately and washed separately to prevent the spread of infection.

  • Water temperature: washing machines operate at sufficiently high temperatures (at least 60°C) to eliminate pathogens and ensure garments disinfection.

  • Ultra-concentrated detergents and thermochemical disinfection: Use efficient, effective, and sustainable detergents from the Soft Laundry System range to remove organic dirt. Products such as OX BLAU L are applied to disinfect washed clothing in accordance with UNE-EN 16616 and UNE-EN 13697 standards.

3. Surface disinfection.
